BIO

Vincent Michaud is a New York Based actor nicknamed Vinny who started out painting as a child and became involved in theater and performance, always trying to make people laugh or scare them. Very fond of human characters and visual imagery, he’s always felt attached to film, actors and the great directors. Very aware of the impact one can have in telling a story with the use of good characterizations. The ability to do this using ones self (body) and their individual understanding of these human and sometimes non human emotions is a quality he always recognized in himself. Growing up in New York, he used painting as his main creative outlet until moving to Los Angeles on his own at fifteen were he Attended VADA a visual arts and design / performing arts academy. There he became involved in theater using the acting ability that he cultivated as a child. After leaving school he went on to broaden his creative skills working in Los Angeles in many creative fields such as fashion sketching for the clothing company PRIVATE, doing numerous window displays for various Hollywood stores, as well as styling and photo assistant work for many photographers. He also worked in various fashion productions as producer / art director / casting director. One such production being a fashion show for then beginning magazine and clothing company VICE. Later as a means to support himself, Vinny began modeling, appearing in music videos and commercials. Shortly after he returned to New York , Represented by New York model management internationally appearing in fashion editorials, print ads, campaigns and fashion shows all over the world. Yet he remains focused and consistent, working with many art forms and in many mediums. Currently living in New York, Vinny uses his skills as a visual artist as a basis to study and pursue his Acting and directing career.
